| Posted By: Jerry Trousdale, K4ZIN on 18-May-2006 at 1734UTC | Dear Jovica, You recently made this old DXer very happy--working you for country #334 on CW. That was one of the bigger thrills in recent ham operations. They get harder and harder at this point.
I work in Africa and have been liscensed as 9L1JT off an on since 1972. I still love giving out new ones for 9L1.
I have never been in Sudan except for landin recently in Khartoum in route to Addis. And I will be in Chad later this year.
I am really impressed with your beautiful QSL cards. Mine was sent to you a week or so ago--but it is not a work of art like yours.
Your 20 meter signal has been really good recently in Tennessee. All the best of DX and best wishes. And thanks especially for taking the time in the pileup to dig for my call--until I had enough time to finally get the linear up. hi

Thanks also for your work with the UN, appreciated by everyone. Excellent web page, most interesting. Good luck es DX. All the best from Canada.

| Posted By: Tom Laskowski, KB9BIT on 12-May-2006 at 2204UTC | I was very pleased to hear your signal 599 here in Indiana tonight. I worked you at 2317 on 14.005 MHz but I heard you copy my callsign as KB0BIT. I could not tell if you got my correct call as KB9BIT.
I will be sending my QSL and look forward to seeing more pictures from your visit to Sudan.
73 and good DX!! |
